If you enter a name or birth date into a finder tool, the query is sent to the third-party provider that operates that tool. The provider processes the request and returns its own results under its terms. The site does not host York warrant records or retain the search terms in a local warrant database.
Messages and Contact Submissions
The current reference does not offer a user account or a message form. If a visitor sends a message through a channel supplied by the operator, it may be kept long enough to answer the request. It is not shared outside the operator’s organization unless law requires it or a service provider is needed to handle it.

It publishes general instructions for finding records through the York-Poquoson Sheriff’s Office, the Circuit, General District, and JDR courts, or Virginia’s Online Case Information System within its limits. The site does not assemble visitor information into reports about other people.
Third-Party Search Partners
Search boxes on the content pages are operated by outside companies. Information entered into a partner tool is handled under that company’s privacy policy, retention schedule, and sharing practices. The site operator does not control those systems. Read the provider’s terms before submitting personal information, and use official county or court channels for an official record question.
Links to Other Websites
York County Warrant Records links to sheriff, court, Virginia government, federal court, and other reference pages. When a visitor follows an outside link, the destination’s privacy policy applies. Review it before sharing personal details.
Advertising and analytics companies may use their own systems to measure activity across sites or select ads. Those practices are controlled by the provider, not by the county sheriff or court.
Who Might See Your Data
The operator does not sell visitor data. Information may be processed by service providers needed to run the website, including:

The site is intended for adults and does not knowingly seek personal information from children. This private site is not a place to search or publish juvenile warrant records.
Your Data Rights
Virginia’s Freedom of Information Act, Va. Code § 2.2-3700 et seq., governs access to records held by public bodies. It can apply to existing records held by the York-Poquoson Sheriff’s Office or a court, subject to the law’s exemptions. It does not make this private website a public body or create access to the operator’s internal web logs.
A visitor may ask a private service to explain, correct, or delete information it directly holds, or to stop certain optional processing when available. This site does not provide an account dashboard or separate privacy-request form. Search queries entered into a partner tool must be addressed under that provider’s policy. Requests for a York County public record should go to the office that holds it.
